Hi Homeland 🇺🇸 I’m here! Didn’t officially announce because well, when you live in a small town you can expect to run into just about everyone within the first 2 weeks.

Here’s what I’m processing so far:

Home through new eyes 👀

It feels as GOOD 😊 as it does WEIRD. 🤨

I am a big supporter of pilgrimages back to old places- it can be triggering in all the best ways. ✨Clarity in the contrast ☯️

I’ve cried everyday for the past 2 weeks.

Sometimes of stress
Sometimes of worry
Sometimes of longing for partnership
But the majority were tears of GRATITUDE 🙏

The past 3 years in Australia, have cracked me wide open. 💥

Challenge after challenge inviting me into deeper, rawer, more radiant expressions of who I really am.

🌗 Quite the stark contrast to the little girl that dreamed of being a news anchor (fully knowing then that news anchors just read teleprompters)

🌗 A stark contrast to the young woman who used to get drunk to unleash her wild side

🌗 A stark contrast to a woman a few years younger than today, who didn’t cry for 6 months straight

✨Feeling is SELF ACCEPTANCE
✨Feeling is MAGNETIC
✨Feeling is HEALING

And I’m here for it! (Are u?!) Cuz since allowing myself to feel, my life has consistently bloomed into a waking dream

*cue more happy tears 🤣

Dear biz owner: If you’re feeling DISAPPOINTED or some level of REJECTION in relation to your results - you’re not doing anything wrong. You’re just experiencing a necessary part of business.

You’re being invited into a world where you no longer base your worthiness & self love on results. 👸🏼

You’re being thrown into one of most expansive journeys of your life. One that if you continue to keep putting yourself & your work out there, will help you uncover the deepest sense of self-acceptance, & non-circumstantial happiness humanly possible 🤗

This process is anything but easy. Its nearly impossible to not to be upset when you know your idea will revolutionize other people’s lives & it flops.

I know because I’ve launched several programs & events that got maybe 1 or 2 or participants…2 years straight from when I started my business from scratch in a competitive industry based on all self-taught expertise.

But let’s change the narrative...

Because...

What’s holding you back from starting a new passion project / side hustle isn’t that your product or service isn’t ready or good enough... (F that)

It’s probably that you’re 😬OVER COMPLICATING it, 🤔THINKING TOO LONG TERM & 🥴attaching ANXIETY to the tasks right from the beginning.

I know this because I’ve been through this pattern many times before. (Spoiler alert: it’s not fun)

If living in a van & running two businesses has taught me anything it’s that I’m happiest & most productive when I focus on SIMPLICITY, IMPURRFECT ACTION, & HAVING FUN being a total noob at it.

So let this be your mini reminder that:

A) you’re human! 😊
It’s only natural that you’re overthinking & finding reasons to not do the project that really scares you. We all do it...

B) the guilt you may feel about NOT starting the project is always WAY worse than the potential disappointment you may experience if the project doesn’t take off.🕺

C) you’re gonna need to SIMPLIFY - come back to the basics - zoom back in and ask yourself- “What is one thing I can do today to move the project along just a cm further”

Not gonna lie... I didn’t wake up looking & feeling like this 😿

This xmas I woke up to confusion, tears, a headache and a longing to be freezing my t**s off in a winter wonderland ❄️ instead of sweating bullets, self isolated, parked up on a somewhat empty, dreary showgrounds in the middle of australia.

Despite the sadness I feel in heart to be so far from friends & family during the holidays for the 3rd year in a row, I choose to believe that I’m exactly where I need to be right now.

I choose to see how this distance has created so much space for my growth.

I choose to cry AND celebrate.

Because I’ve learned that when I honor & embrace where I’m at, I begin to radiate... levitate... We’re not here to wait & contemplate fate.

We’re here to appreciate. ✨🙏✨
