It’s Officially On ☀️

📸Picture this! Let’s close your eyes and imagine…Sunshine, patios, concerts, rooftop nights, good friends, and a cold marg made with Altos Tequila. Can you feel the goodness? We recently got the chance to explore some of what makes our city great by spending an entire evening bopping around town and celebrating the start of Margarita Season. And we highly recommend you do the same!

Our favorite ways to celebrate the season include:
☀️Sipping at our favorite spots around town. Alicia loves a salted rim, Dan prefers no rim.
☀️Grabbing a bottle of Altos and shaking things up at home. Our goal is to master Alicia’s favorite Spicy Marg recipe this year.
☀️Hanging at the oh-so-cute Altos Tequila Truck at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre and dancing the night away.

You can’t do it wrong! What’s your favorite type of marg?

This might be your new favorite spot

We heard tiny rumblings about the opening of + so we obviously had to check it out for ourselves…and, by gosh, are we glad we did!

This is the perfect spot for a Date and we’ll definitely be back.

Here’s what we loved about it:

😍The space is an absolute vibe. It’s laid back & intimate. It’s designed with the intention that you just might become friends with the people you are sitting next to (and we did!)

🍸Thoughtfully curated drinks that were unique and so dang good. There were only 3 on the menu but the two we tried were hard proof that anything they make you will be a 10

🥨 Toad Kitchen is a slam dunk (or should we say, checkmate?). Again, a small menu, but the food on it is creative and DELICIOUS.

♟️ Also, we don’t even play chess and we had so much fun. It’s a great date activity! Dan taught me how to play and even though he won, I’m pretty sure I can crush him next time.

We are often getting asked about What’s New in Denver and our current faves. This will definitely be one of the first things we’ll be mentioning for the foreseeable future.

Have you tried this spot yet?

We recently checked out the new(ish) spot in the Uptown Neighborhood of Denver and it was a stellar Date Night.

The ambience was excellent, the hospitality was on point and we loved that you can watch the Noodle Pulling while it happens.

You really can’t go wrong here but these were our favorite bites:

Iberico Pork Wontons (in Chili Oil 🌶️)
Kung Pao Chicken Noodle Stir Fry (anything with these noodles would be 🔥)

Alicia’s favorites:
Nina’s Cold Noodles

A Perfect Day

We think so!

Shopping with your love, a romantic dinner, then drinks with a view? Say less. We spent the day at and it’s officially Date-Night approved.

How we planned our Date:

Mother’s Day was fast approaching so we held hands and browsed at to see what Alicia got giddy over. Plus, they offered us champs as soon as we walked in = immediate win.

🐘 Happy Hour ➡️ Dinner

might have one of the best HHs around (hello lobster shooters 😍). We stayed for dinner and… zero regrets. Order anything and feel very taken care of. Trust us.

🏔️ Nightcap Views!

Rooftop at inside is cozy, romantic, and the perfect ending. Yes, we wrapped by 7:30… and yes, we’d do it again.

Belleview Station has so much to offer with a huge dog park, a beer garden, a farmers market, fitness studios, and restaurants and shops galore, so approach your own Adventure there any way you’d like. Bonus: light rail access = no excuses.

Where are your favorites?

Crab and Cheese Wontons aka Crab Rangoon might be one of our favorite bites. If they are on the menu, it’s always a Yes for us.

Here are some honorable mentions:
Peters Chinese
Nanas Dim Sum
MAKfam (not always on the menu tho. The sauce is SO good)
