🧬We really Bodied this date

The Bodies exhibit is at the Denver Pavillions and it’s a perfect way to escape this late summer heat OR dodge the beautiful rains we’ve been having lately. We did just that this past weekend and what an enlightening experience!!!!

For those that don’t know, this exhibit boasts REAL bodies and is truly fascinating. Dan and I talked the entire time. Things that we literally said during this Date:

“I’m so happy to be alive! I’m alive”

“I’m not gonna lie, that brain just ate ”

“Babe come look — no seriously, come LOOK!”

“This is all inside me?!?!”

“Our bodies are incredible!”

(“Yours certainly is 😉 “)

“I’ve never seen you this exposed before”

🎫 Doors are open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

📍 It’s located inside Denver Pavilions on the second floor, below Lucky Strike and above Que Rico.

🚗 There are several parking options: the underground garage - directly beneath the Pavillions, surface lot at 15th and Welton streets, surface lot at 15th and Tremont streets, or street parking.

Pro Tip: While this exhibit is truly amazing, eat afterwards instead of before 😉 😉

A little drama never hurt

🎭 On a warm Sunday afternoon, we found ourselves at the sold out matinee of Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company (Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company’s) “Witch” and omg (!!!) we are still thinking about it. The fight scenes, the deaths, and the Devil’s monologue still makes us quiver.

✨For those not yet in the know, BETC does several performances at the gorgeous The Savoy Denver in RiNo and we feel like it’s our Date Night Denver Duty to inform you that this needs to be added to your list!

🥂Get to the performances early and really make a night of it. Each show comes with a drink ticket, and there are fun cocktails and mocktails to go with the performance theme, as well as the Classics. There are cute bites and fun spaces to hang enjoy yourselves before the show! Make sure you find the photo opps with props.

Pro Tip: If you happen to miss these dates here in Denver, all the runs are extended in Boulder at the Dairy Arts Center. So, no excuse not to catch a performance!

Every Thursday through mid-October at 16th and Glenarm a full night of free, family-friendly entertainment takes over the street. Think DJ battles, dance instruction, silent disco, and celebrating music and community. This is why we love Denver!!!

Every event is a little different with lots of fun surprises, so mark your calendars for the upcoming events and come shake your booties!

What are your favorite things to do in / near Golden?

Here’s what we love about this town:

🥾100s of nearby Hiking Trails and easy access to the Mountains
😋 Incredible Food & Drink options (Abejas, King of Wings, Bonfire Burritos, Golden Mill - just to name a few)
👻 Haunted Ghost Tours
🖼️ Free Museums
🍻 Local Breweries and watering holes
🤘 10 min from Red Rocks, 🦖 Dinosaur Ridge & Morrison
…and SO much more

And yea, we ALSO love a yellow jacket from time to time but that’s just a piece of the puzzle.

We turned our last visit into a staycation so we could really soak up the Wild West culture. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott which was halfway between Red Rocks & Golden so we got a little of the “best of both worlds”.
