4degre.es is a digital strategy and political consulting firm based in Denver, CO, and Washington D.C. We need a Creative Director to create video, graphics, and social media creative to persuade voters, recruit donors, and help our clients win.
Minimal skills include video editing, photoshop, copywriting, and graphic design. Ideal candidates also have some basic motion graphics experience and social media marketing background. Please let us know if you have HTML/JS skills and experience with banners or mobile interstitials. Furthermore, candidates with trafficking/trade desk experience especially with Facebook and programmatic video would be an extremely valuable addition to our company. We are a small team and staff who can bring multiple disciplines to receive higher, competitive compensation.
You'll develop the creative strategy that underpins our client’s digital engagement, advocacy, and/or fundraising programs. Our creative process is driven by data, polling, and digital testing. You’ll work directly with clients and team members to identify messaging, create media strategy, produce creative, use data to iterate and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Serve as a subject matter expert in digital ad creative for both clients and internal teams, keeping up to date with relevant news, specs, formats, best practices, and trends.
Participate in internal and external messaging and strategy meetings.
Draft compelling copy to inspire action and drive donations.
Provide guidance to our digital team and clients on effective creative.
Create video, graphics, write copy, and multi-platform digital advertising campaigns.
Help generate insights from data & reports. Iterate to improve creative, tracking KPIs to deliver better fundraising, persuasion, or recall.
Discover new ad formats, platforms, trends and understand the competitive political landscape.
Evaluate digital advertising performance – produce detailed reports on campaigns. Consistently use findings to inform best practices.
Ideal Candidates Can Also Help With Some Of These Skills:
Help create, place, and optimize social media campaigns (paid and organic).
Create & place tracking pixels/tack, troubleshoot conversion tracking.
Place and monitor media buys (social, video, search, and programmatic) – and making adjustments as necessary to optimize results.
Assist with programmatic media buys, with knowledge of fraud prevention, video technology, viewability, and trade desk experience.
Create motion graphics.
Create HTML/JS banners & rich mobile interstitials.
Help with detailed digital ads analytics, AB testing, and optimization. Knowledge of SQL.
Design websites. Edit & develop websites with html/css/js.
Requirements:
1-3 years of digital advertising experience; background in digital advertising creative.
Video editing, photoshop, graphic design, copywriting experience with a portfolio of work.
Strong communication skills -- comfortable pitching ideas & concepts to senior staff and clients.
Analytical skills. Experience producing data-driven (or direct response/KPI driven) creative. Ability to leverage polling, surveys, client briefs, and research to produce a media plan and creative ideas.
Ability to work independently but also in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment.
Logistics:
Colorado or D.C.-based applicants are preferred, but we will still consider remote-applicants Interviews may take place over the phone or in person.

Salary for this position is $80K+, depending on experience
