Fast Track Marketing is a full service marketing agency that develops and implements marketing strategies and programs for any size business. But to call us an ‘ad agency’ understates considerably what we actually do for our clients. What makes us different is that we built our platform on the marketing principles and techniques developed by some of the greatest advertising and sales minds in America. Our uniqueness is our ability to take these powerful techniques and tools and implement them to build your practice. Whether it’s generating leads from the internet or airwaves, teaching your staff how to convert phone inquiries into consults and consults into surgeries or giving you a killer website, we have the breadth, experience and track record to diagnose improvement opportunities, and deliver the results that generate practice profitability.

If we could give every practice one writing tip, it would be this: write like you talk.

A lot of practices try to sound formal and "professional" on their website and in their emails, and the personality that makes them memorable disappears along the way. Patients want to connect with real people. Language that sounds warm, honest and like your actual team builds trust faster than any polished phrase.

That's how Dominique from our team approaches every website and email she writes for our clients.

Want your website and emails to sound like the people patients meet in your office? Book a time to talk with us. Check the comments for the link.

Do you know which of last month's ads actually booked a patient? Not clicks. Not impressions. Patients.

Most practices can't answer that, and it's not their fault. A lot of reports stop at clicks and leads because those are easy to count. But you can't decide what to spend next year on if you can't see what this year's spend brought in.

We track every call and form back to the campaign that produced it, so you can see what's working and what isn't. With one multi-location eye care group, that clarity is what let us rebuild their search ads around the services that mattered most. Weekly calls went from about 13 to 47. Results vary by market, but the first step is always the same: knowing where your patients come from.

Does your website look like everyone else's? There's a good chance it shares a face with a lot of them.

Meet "Betty." We ran one reverse image search and found her on six eye care websites, from California all the way to Alberta, Canada. A cataract page here, a senior eye exam page there, and front and center on a home page.

She's lovely. But when every website uses the same photos, nothing helps a patient choose you over the practice down the street. Real photos and video of your doctors, your team and your office are how patients start trusting you before they ever call.

Have you spotted "Betty" in your market? Tell us below.

Planning next year's marketing and not sure what's actually working? This free hour is for you.

On Thursday, October 29, our COO Elaine Honold, MBA, is teaching a live session built around three questions every marketing decision comes back to. Can a patient find you? Once they find you, do they trust you? Once they trust you, is it easy to reach you? It ends with how to decide what to keep, what to fix first, and what can wait. She taught it to a full house at the American Academy of Ophthalmology annual meeting last weekend, and this is the version for everyone who couldn't get a seat.

Grab your phone and search for the procedure you want more of, plus "near me." Are you in the map?

The map results are the three practices Google shows first, right above the websites. Most patients pick from those three and never scroll further. If you're not there, someone else is getting the call.

Here's the catch: where you show up changes depending on where the patient is standing. You might be in the map near your office and missing a mile away. Our free Digital Visibility Assessment checks the map from 25 points across your area, so you can see your whole market at once. Save this and try the phone check today.

Spending more on ads and not seeing more patients? You're not alone, and it's usually not the ads.

Here's the idea Elaine Honold, our COO, taught to a full room at the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting on Saturday. Advertising multiplies whatever is already there. If your website loads slowly, ads send more people to a slow website. If calls go to voicemail, ads buy more voicemails. More budget just makes the gap bigger.

That's why we look at what happens around the ads before we touch the budget: the page people land on, how fast someone answers, and how easy it is to book. Fix those, and the same ad spend starts bringing in patients.

Not sure where your gaps are? Our free Digital Visibility Assessment is a good place to start. fast-trackmarketing.com/digital-marketing-audit/

This past weekend Jonna and Elaine went to New Orleans for AAO 2026! They had some great conversations during their Conversations with the Experts sessions and Elaine had a full house for her talk on Marketing Your Practice: What Works, What Doesn’t and Where to Focus Next.

Thank you to the American Academy of Ophthalmology for having our team there, and we hope to see everyone again next year!

If you didn't make it out to New Orleans and still want to learn about what's working in marketing right now, Elaine is hosting a slightly condensed version of her AAO talk for our monthly webinar on October 29 at 12pm MST! There's a lot of really great information in there and you definitely don't want to miss it!

At AAO this week? Jonna Kieler, our CEO, and Elaine Honold, our COO, are doing Digital Visibility Assessments in person this Saturday. Book your time here: https://www.fast-trackmarketing.com/aao-2026-dva/

A Digital Visibility Assessment (DVA) is a free look at how patients in your market search for the procedures you offer, and where your practice shows up when they do. We check where you rank for real patient searches, where you appear on Google Maps across your area, whether Google's AI answers mention you, and how fast your website loads. It's built entirely from what patients can see, so there's nothing to prepare. You leave knowing where you stand today, plus a 30 to 90 day plan for where to start.

Conversations with the Experts at AAO 2026
Saturday, October 10, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Academy Hub, Hall F, Booth 2437
Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans

Times are first come, first served, so grab one that fits around your sessions.

Then stay for the afternoon. Elaine is teaching Course 259, Marketing Your Practice: What Works, What Doesn't and Where to Focus Next, from 3:45 to 5:00 PM in Room 207.

10/05/2026

Here's something we didn't expect to be saying a few years ago: your Instagram posts can show up in AI search.

AI tools don't just read your website anymore. They look at your social profiles and your videos too. So your voice, your values, and how consistently you show up all feed into how patients find you.

Want to know how your social and website look together? Our free Digital Visibility Assessment reviews both, plus your search presence and AI readiness, side by side with your top three competitors. Jonna walks you through it live. Check the comments for the link.

AAO is about a week away, and this is the session worth making time for.

Elaine Honold, MBA, our COO, is teaching Course 259 at the American Academy of Ophthalmology annual meeting. It is about the difference between the marketing that is genuinely working for a practice right now and the marketing that only looks like it is. Which, it turns out, are not always the same list.
