Two of our wonderful clients could use your help today.
Both are nonprofits who have risen to the challenges of 2020 with determination and measurable, positive impact. And both could use the amplified donation power of Colorado Gives Day (today!) to continue their hard and necessary work.
First is Food Bank of the Rockies, whom we've been partnering with for a year now, mostly behind the scenes as we help them shape future strategy and branding efforts. (Stay tuned for 2021!) The number of families in need of food and necessities in these difficult times has skyrocketed, and Food Bank has responded heroically, increasing food acquisition and distribution by amounts unthinkable a year earlier. Every dollar you donate helps provide around four nutritious meals, which is amazing. And today that donation goes further here: https://www.coloradogives.org/index.php?section=organizations&action=newDonation&fwID=6850https://
Second is Lighthouse Writers Workshop who, in addition to offering world-class instruction for all types of writing and performance, also bring the power of story to the community at large. As Executive Director Michael Henry wrote today in a fundraising email: "At Lighthouse, we are committed to strengthening our communities by equipping people with the creative tools to turn experiences, truths, questions, and hopes into literature—into stories, poems, essays, novels, and plays that build empathy and understanding. Such writing helps us make sense of the world, and connects us to one another." Couldn't say it any better ourselves (of course!). You can give to them here: https://www.coloradogives.org/index.php?section=organizations&action=newDonation&fwID=27646
In the meantime, you can also watch—if you haven't already clicked on it by now—the video we just created for Lighthouse on the power of story.
