The event brought together creatives, designers and innovators for a day of creative sessions, hands-on learning, new Canva tools and conversations about what’s next in design. Tara and Annabelle left feeling inspired, energized and excited to bring new ideas back to our Design Team!💡

In honor of National Volunteer Week, we wanted to share a few of the ways our team has been giving back lately! 💜

Our Purpose First committee helped put together some volunteer opportunities for our team, including creating Día del Niño cards for kids at Children’s Hospital Colorado and decorating meal bags for Project Angel Heart. 🎨

Our team has also been showing up in their own ways across the community, including Chief Purpose Officer Sarah Hogan’s involvement in National Library Week with the Denver Public Library Friends Foundation, where she currently sits on the board.

Giving back is part of how we live out our Barefoot values every day, from putting purpose first to working with heart and showing up all in together! 🤝

Our annual all-team retreat is always a highlight of the year, and this one did not disappoint!

Last week's retreat created space to step away from our day-to-day work, connect as a team and focus on what makes Barefoot so special. From big ideas and meaningful conversations to plenty of laughter in between, it was a valuable opportunity to reflect and grow together.

In Boulder County, conversations around mental health needed to feel local, human and trusted. 💙

We partnered with Boulder County Public Health to localize the Let’s Talk Colorado campaign through thoughtful strategy, ethical storytelling and bilingual digital assets that reflected the community it serves. From real resident videos to a coordinated rollout across organic, paid and influencer channels, this work was built to reduce stigma and strengthen trust in local public health.

In just three months, the campaign generated more than 724,000 impressions.

Last week at Barefoot was rooted in connection, community and heart! 💕

We spent time with our friends at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP assembling Valentine bundles that were donated alongside cold weather essentials. 💌 Back at the office, our winter book club, “Sweethearts & Stories,” brought festive Valentine treats and thoughtful conversation. The week wrapped with our annual “Show Your Love Day,” where gifts of all kinds, from homemade favorites to creative surprises, were exchanged inside the Valentine bags we decorated together.
