Recently it was 36° and we saw light snow flurries at our satellite office in Panama City Beach, Florida. That was actually colder than our headquarters in Denver, Colorado, where it was 37° and sunny. Last year, we got 6 inches of snow in Panama City Beach, which hadn't happened in 36 years!
It just goes to show that you can plan in advance, but you can't plan for everything, especially the weather. It pays to stay flexible enough to deal with a curve ball when they are thrown at you. When planning major outdoor events for clients like Bandimere Speedway and O'Toole's Garden Centers, sometimes you have to adjust when the weather isn't cooperating.
