We got to flex our creative muscles in a recent studio session. Music is a direct line to the heart and it's fascinating to explore how sounds create different feelings. The Lead Climber crew experimented with instruments and vocals and let the vibe take us on a journey. Digital production can feel generic, so we prioritized creating one-of-a-kind sounds using a variety of analog equipment.

If your brand feels flat, consider an audio program. We've collaborated with clients to create custom tracks and jingles. The team also has a good ear for picking music beds and sound effects that add drama and emotion to your messaging.

Recently it was 36° and we saw light snow flurries at our satellite office in Panama City Beach, Florida. That was actually colder than our headquarters in Denver, Colorado, where it was 37° and sunny. Last year, we got 6 inches of snow in Panama City Beach, which hadn't happened in 36 years!

It just goes to show that you can plan in advance, but you can't plan for everything, especially the weather. It pays to stay flexible enough to deal with a curve ball when they are thrown at you. When planning major outdoor events for clients like Bandimere Speedway and O'Toole's Garden Centers, sometimes you have to adjust when the weather isn't cooperating. Lead Climber always has back-up plans and our team's creativity helps us be agile when things change.

Check out our new Demo Reel! We're excited to showcase some of our favorite client work while introducing our new brand to the world. Lead Climber Marketing believes in the power of video and we love working with clients to promote their offerings in a fun and engaging way.

Do you ever feel that video content is too difficult to produce? With the cost of crews and editing, we know the feeling!

Lead Climber gets scrappy with our video production. We've made elevator pitch videos using screen recordings from Zoom. We use footage that our clients shoot on their cell phones. In today's world of social media, your video strategy might not need that much polish. The quality of the idea matters more than fancy production. Don't get us wrong, we appreciate the value of a full cast and crew, but when we do it big, we make sure to get plenty of bonus footage that can be used online in addition to the main spots we're producing.

Colorado Startup Week was an opportunity for the Lead Climber crew to connect with each other and some of the smartest people in the state. We had important conversations with the kinds of people you'd like to do business with. We listened, learned, and shared a few laughs while discussing things like creativity, mentorship, tech, and the future.

You'll never guess the hot topic of the convention... AI. We didn't walk away with as many tangible insights and processes as we wanted, but the mood was generally hopeful even when we bumped up against some uncomfortable truths and trends. We believe that people can guide technology down a positive path by being thoughtful and remembering our humanity.

After 30 years in the advertising business as Medina Communications, we're proud to announce our new brand: Lead Climber Marketing. Our new name represents a fresh start, new partnerships, and our commitment to strive.

We're combining startup energy with three decades of marketing experience. It's been a wild ride, and we'd like to share some of the lessons we've learned along the way.

1. There's no shortcut to the top. To get there ahead of the competition, you have to start early, work harder, and never quit.

2. The journey is just as important as reaching the summit. Pride comes from pushing yourself further than you thought possible.

3. Reaching a goal means more when you share it with the team that helped you get there.
