Crafted in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York, this truly is a spirit rooted in place. EBD designed the label to tell a story as rich and layered as the brandy itself.

Here's to savoring the details, inside and out.

Cheers!

In 1970, Denver was selected by the IOC to host the XII Winter Olympic Games. Accompanying the bid was a striking modernist identity and materials designed by the Denver office of Unimark, famously founded by Massimo Vignelli.

Now, 52 years later, these designs served as inspiration for EBD’s annual ski day.

As we reflect on some of our favorite designs of the year, join us for a cup of coffee, and ponder what might have been for the city, the mountains, and the people.

EBD designed this stationery system for Amanda Precourt's personal brand that embodies her diverse career experience as an artist, real estate developer and philanthropist. The brand serves as a launch pad for her next endeavor, a multi-level art "museum", The Cookie Factory.

Quarterra ’s latest multifamily development, Dryden, is a luxury high-rise in one of Denver’s fastest growing neighborhoods, and Ellen Bruss Design had the opportunity to develop the complete brand.

We designed Dryden’s logo to look handcrafted and modern, incorporating organic curves that keep it soft and elegant. The color palette is classy and cool, emblematic of the stylish urban apartment homes in the Golden Triangle. The gunmetal black brings a modern elegance to the brand, while the supporting copper bronze, dark pine green, teal and bright orange make it feel approachable. The Dryden print collateral utilizes the core brand colors with the logo, logo badge and a custom pattern embossed on the pocket folder and notecards.

Located in the heart of Denver's Golden Triangle, the Kindred brand draws inspiration from the neighborhood's eclectic shops, art galleries, and dynamic cultural scene. We designed the pocket folders, rack cards, sell sheets, postcards and complete leasing system to seamlessly extend the vibrant and energetic essence of the brand.

Every corner of Albert Frey’s Aluminaire House that was reinstalled at Palm Springs Art Museum was designed with incredible attention to detail. Here's a unique glimpse of the installation’s interior, which is not accessible due to keeping the original structure intact, since it does not meet current ADA standards. A VR tour will be available soon.

At EBD, we focus our practice on PlaceBranding, which is all about the history, culture and activities of a specific place, and the impressions people take away from visiting it. It’s what attracts you. It’s how it makes you feel. And it creates the memories you take with you.

Las Vegas excels in this by leveraging its concentration of world-class entertainment, hospitality, gaming, dining and shopping. The city’s distinctive 24/7 culture of indulgence creates an escape from reality and immerses visitors in a fantasy world unlike any other destination. Thus the tagline, “What you do here, stays here”.

EBD was engaged to create a brand, signage and merchandise for Palm Springs Art Museum's Aluminaire House. Great care was taken with creating a logo that was true to the era, but also felt fresh today. Instead of grouping the large donors on one panel, we spread them throughout the site, as beautiful surprises.

Fourth & Central by Continuum Partners, LLC and LA Cold Storage envisions dynamic placemaking, housing for all, and cultural opportunities in a human-scale space.

The office of Governor Gavin Newsom has announced they are pushing to accelerate construction of the 7.6-acre residential and commercial development in downtown Los Angeles. The $2-billion project will bring homes, offices, retail spaces and restaurants to the neighborhood with ten new buildings.

We look forward to continuing work on this project with Continuum Partners.
