It’s the Soapbox Edition of the Adam Dunn Show and the lines are open ! The industry was reminded how fragile and fragmented it is. Slipped into the reopening of the government was an amendment that would clarify the definition of h**p to ban all h**p-derived products containing THC, which were legalized by the 2018 farm bill. Legal h**p products are limited to a total of 0.4 milligrams per container of total THC, or any other cannabinoids with similar effects. Cannabinoids that are synthesized or manufactured outside the plant, like delta-8 THC, are outright banned.  There’s a lot to unpack here and there’s as much good as bad, we hardly need every gas station selling Terp infused prerolls or no oversight in manufacturing of edibles but at the same time we NEED to protect the h**p farmers that are producing cbd for salves , tinctures etc that really help patients in those unregulated states.
