I recently worked with two Denver-area law firms to rebuild their websites.
The first, Welborn Sullivan Meck & Tooley (wsmtlaw.com), had an old custom back-end that was behaving badly. Their site had been semi-recently redesigned and they liked the look, they just needed it to function better. They were also on self-contained web hosting controlled by their old designer and couldn't easily make changes.
I rebuilt the site in a sandbox environment, then we moved them to new hosting that both costs less and is more reliable, plus they now have full control. I also updated the look of their blog/news stories and created bio PDFs for each attorney.
The second site needed a full redesign. Kristin Dittus Law was rebranding to Life & Legacy Planning (lifeandlegacyltd.com) so the site needed a new look, but the back end was also outdated and the site was continually being hacked. Kristin had hired someone to update it earlier but didn't like the result.
She did like the color scheme, so we kept that but added more and updated images, more calls to action, modernized the site's overall look, and consolidated many of the subpages onto the front page. The back end of the site is now much less prone to hacks. I also taught her support staff how to edit the site so they aren't reliant on me to make minor changes.
I'm glad both clients are enjoying a more stable, secure experience with their new sites! Is your site in need of an update? I would love to chat with you about it!
