Hi, I’m Sami, a publicist, creative strategist, and lifelong champion of good stories. After 15 years in marketing, promotions, and business management, I found my home in publicity in 2011, helping authors, musicians, and all kinds of creatives individuals step into the spotlight. From national book and music tours to collaborations with major media outlets and influencers around the world, my wo

rk is all about building genuine community and having a little fun along the way. It’s a nod to his service, legacy, and the family business he built in 1953. His ethics and entrepreneurial spirit guide everything I do. When I’m not championing clients, I’m usually traveling around the world with my two hilarious kids, and husband, with whom I collaborate with often through home design and music (he’s a children’s musician beloved by Colorado festivals and libraries all over the front range). We recently worked together to renovate Margo, a 1978 Airstream Argosy Minuet that you are welcome to rent for your next Denver adventure!

Another successful book launch, another happy author!

Nothing means more than helping authors bring their stories to the world and seeing their hard work receive the recognition it deserves.

"I was delighted by Roger Charlie's breadth of knowledge, supportive communication, and highly valued services. My book would not have had the successful launch it enjoyed without all of this marvelous work and collaboration. I cannot recommend Roger Charlie more highly for marketing and promotion, and I look forward, in fact, to releasing a future book so I might work with her again!"

— A. David Lewis, author of Body, Soul & Comics

Congratulations to Larkin McPhee for her featured in Katie Couric Media for her release of I'LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS today! This moving story reminds us that some people come into our lives and leave a mark so deep that their influence never fades.

What makes this story so powerful isn't the tragedy of his illness. It's the way he chose to live. Charles reminded those around him that time is precious, that there isn't always "more time," and that life's magic becomes even clearer when we stop taking it for granted.

She really hits home that the people who shape us most are often the ones closest to us. Their wisdom, kindness, and example continue guiding us long after they're gone.

Who has been the biggest influence in your life?

Quiet, steady, constant. That’s growth. Most of the time you can’t even see it, but it’s happening. Keep moving.

Sometimes the biggest shift in business
is not strategy, it is mindset. The way we see challenges can either hold us back or
push us forward. One setback can feel like failure, or it can become proof that growth is happening.

I have learned that success often starts with changing your perspective. Instead of asking “Why is this not working?” I started
asking “What is this teaching me?”

That small shift changed everything.
The past version of us focused on fear, doubt, and waiting for the perfect time. The present version understands that progress comes from showing up, learning, and trying again.

Growth is not always loud. Sometimes it is simply choosing to see the glass half full and continuing anyway.

Your mindset shapes your momentum.

Publicity has always felt a lot like reading a good book to me.

Every page matters. Every chapter builds trust. And sometimes, the smallest moments are the ones people remember most.

The same goes for business. It is not always the big launches or major features that create connection. Sometimes it is the simple post, the honest story, or the behind-the-scenes moment that helps people feel like they’re connected directly to you.

That is what real visibility looks like.

I have learned that the best publicity comes from showing up as yourself and letting people connect with the story behind the brand.
