🌻🏡 Ranked as one of the 2025 top-selling master planned communities in Colorado (for the first time in its more than two-decades-long lifespan), this brand sprouted new legs and ran with them.
Based on the theory of modern nostalgia – the longing for a warm, connected, small-town feeling even in a world that moves fast – and the belief that “times were easier before our days”, married with what we’ve learned about human behavior since the pandemic, we refreshed the brand of Brighton Crossings and the results are (still) astounding.
Working in collaboration with the community developer and home builder – Brookfield Residential – brand and placemaking work together to recreate the emotional rhythms of a neighborhood many buyers never truly lived, but deeply crave: kids biking home at dusk, neighbors chatting at pocket parks, families gathering at the pool after school.
The new brand, its look and feel and voice, and its revived position in the marketplace have proven so successful that it's requiring less marketing expense. We've essentially worked ourselves out of the job; and that's our plight.
Does the philosophy of "modern nostalgia" jive with you? Does it make your head spin? Or are you already thinking of how you can integrate this into your marketing strategy?
