Content buckets explain what the content is. Content pillars justify why the content exists.

Because content strategy isn't just organizing content by labels. It's intentionally connecting content to a business outcome.

Remember filling blue books in high school hoping you'd circle close enough to the right answer to get partial credit?

I think we carried that into marketing.

I even have a name for it: The Blue Notebook Theory (there's even an emoji for it!). 📘

We've been building blue notebooks and calling them strategies.
Content buckets. Channel plans. Editorial calendars. Pages and pages of effort.
