The Iowa Auctioneers Association (IAA) is a non-profit professional trade association promoting auctioneering and the growth and professionalism of the auction method of marketing in the state of Iowa. A big thank you to all of our Iowa Auctioneers Association members who traveled today to support the FFA event, even with less-than-ideal weather and much of Iowa covered in snow. Your presence, encouragement, and willingness to invest your time in these students truly makes a difference.

Congratulations to all 13 students who competed in today’s event. The talent and confidence displayed by each contestant were impressive and a testament to the future of our industry.

And a huge congratulations to Miles McConnaha on winning today’s championship. What an outstanding accomplishment. The hard work, preparation, and talent were on full display, and it was well deserved. The future of auctioneering is bright.

We know today’s weather may make travel difficult for some students, and it’s truly disappointing that not everyone may be able to participate.
Due to several logistical factors already in place — including judges, staff, venue scheduling, and coordination with the Iowa Beef Expo — today’s contest will continue as planned.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and encourage students and families to use their best judgment and travel safely.

The Iowa FFA Bid Calling Invitational State Contest is happening at the Iowa Beef Expo — and these students BRING IT.

Over 25 Iowa FFA members competing. $4,500 in scholarships on the line.

Come cheer them on, support an incredible group of students, and experience one of the most fun, high-energy events at the Beef Expo.
