🏆 “Gideon’s Wish” won a 2026 Upper Midwest Emmy Award in “Branded Content - Short or Long Form Content”! Trilix and Trilix Studio have partnered with Make-A-Wish Iowa on wish stories for years, and this one followed Gideon as he met the musicians of the Des Moines Symphony and conducted the orchestra himself. Thank you to Gideon, his family and Make-A-Wish Iowa for letting us be part of such a special day.

🏆 Addilyn Erica’s music video “Start Again” won a 2026 Upper Midwest Emmy Award in “Entertainment - Short Form Content”! Written by Addilyn and produced by Trilix and Trilix Studio, this song about second chances was brought to life with cutout-style animation. It’s the second Addilyn Erica music video to win an Upper Midwest Emmy, following “Wooden Sword” in 2023.

We're excited to welcome two new team members to Trilix! 💚

Meet Jon Schaeffer, our new senior communications specialist on the public relations and communications team. A Des Moines native, Jon brings more than seven years of experience as a sports director and reporter at WOI-ABC 5. He also brings marketing experience as a content creator, most recently helping tell the stories of innovation at Iowa State University's Student Innovation Center. He earned his bachelor's degree in communication from the University of North Dakota and his master's degree in communication from Purdue University.

Meet Leo Geneser, our new videographer who will work closely with the Iowa Wild. He grew up in Western Springs, Illinois, and studied documentary film in Wake Forest University's graduate program.
