Savvy Sliders, America’s fastest-growing slider brand, announced a new collaboration with popular Detroit morning television and radio host, Jay Towers. The Jay Towers Meal features Jay’s favorite Savvy Sliders menu items and is now available at all Michigan locations. A portion of proceeds from the combo meal will benefit Jay’s Juniors, a non-profit program that provides children with life-altering and life-threatening conditions, along with their families, a memorable family vacation during the holiday season.

“Savvy Sliders’ signature brand motto, ‘More 2 Love,’ represents more than just our signature meals. Kirk Gibson Foundation for Parkinson’s hosted the 10th Annual Kirk Gibson Golf Classic at The Wyndgate Country Club in Rochester, MI. Some of those in attendance joining Kirk, and showing their support, included fellow iconic Detroit Tigers Alan Trammel, Lance Parrish and Dave Rozema, Hall of Famer Detroit Lions Calvin Johnson, Jr., USA Hockey Gold medal winner, Zach Werenski, MSU Head Coach Tom Izzo, just to name a few. The event started with a beautiful performance of the national anthem by Mia Hutchinson. This milestone event has raised more than $2.4 million over the past 10 years to support those living with Parkinson's through grants, programs, and services at the Kirk Gibson Center for Parkinson's Wellness.

Planet Fitness in Novi, Michigan hosted a free community event with special guests, Josh & Jase, as the British travel influencers toured the state of Michigan. There was a lot of fan and press excitement as the duo did a meet & greet and photo opps with thousands of attendees this past Friday.

Jay's Juniors was founded in 2014 by Detroit Television and Radio Host, Jay Towers. Over the years the program has provided hundreds of sick children and financially struggling families, with a memorable family vacation. Each year, local Metro Detroit children between the ages of 3-17, who have life-altering or life-threatening conditions, are nominated by family or friends to be part of this all-expense-paid experience of a lifetime to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

The mission is to provide a fun-filled environment for these brave children, and some time away from the harsh realities of doctors' visits, treatments, and long hospital stays. It's a chance for them to experience the pure joy and magic of childhood, and most importantly, happiness and memories for each, and every member of the family.

Detroit Autorama, America's Greatest Hot Rod Show and celebration of automotive culture, will be making an appearance at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Royal Oak this weekend.

Kirk Gibson, along with the Kirk Gibson Foundation for Parkinson’s, unveiled a new multipurpose gymnasium that was made possible by a generous donation from the Daniel J. Loepp Family Foundation. The new gym is located within the existing Kirk Gibson Center for Parkinson's Wellness, and now allows the center to increase the number of classes and programs it offers for those living with Parkinson's in Michigan. The Robert A. Loepp Sr. Multi-Purpose Gymnasium is named in honor of Dan's late father who lived with Parkinson's for more than a decade.
