I think sometimes we treat our email list like it has to reach some magical number before it's worth our attention.

100 subscribers? Email them.
47 subscribers? Email them.
12 people signed up because they genuinely wanted to hear from you? Email them too.

You don't have to wait until you've built a “big” list to start creating a relationship with the people already there.

Because while you're focused on getting the next 100 people, there are already people who raised their hands and said, keep me in the loop.

Your logo is part of your brand. But it's not doing all the work.

Your messaging matters. Your voice matters. The way you talk to your customers matters. The stories you tell, the things you consistently talk about, even the way your emails are designed all help someone recognize you in their inbox.

Take the logo away and there should still be something familiar about the experience.
Because your emails aren't separate from your brand. They're another place your customers experience it.
