These Detroit young artists are making headlines!

Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit is partnering with Heritage Works, two Detroit high schools, and Bakalama Danse in Senegal to form a powerful 40-person ensemble. Together, they'll perform and host workshops during the 2026 Youth Olympic Games (JOJ Dakar 2026).

This marks the first Olympic event in history to take place on African soil. With over 24,000 young people gathering from around the globe, Detroit talent will be represented on the world stage.
