Hello Everyone!

Stitching Up Detroit will be starting our training for Graphic design/screen printing February 27th from 4:30-6pm every Monday. Orientation will be held February 20th from 4:30-5:30! If you know any youth from the ages 14+ that would be interested please pass this information along!

If you're interested in electric vehicles and racing, and in grade 9 or up, take a look!

We're now taking signups for our Detroit Student Racing Team. Students will get to learn how to build and maintain an EV racecar, drive in a real race, and run a team.

It's totally free. Open to Grade 9 and up in Detroit, Highland Park, and Hamtramck. Orientation and weekly shop nights start this Wednesday.

**If you work in automotive, fabrication, or racing and are interested in mentoring, send me an email to [email protected]. You need to be able to contribute one night a week from June to August like clockwork. We are also taking donations of racing equipment, tools, and EV parts.

Our neighbors in Dearborn passed an ordinance similar to Detroit's to limit the dust blowing off open semi trucks. We are collecting information with TruckSpot (https://truckspot.org) to document trucks in our neighborhood off-route, blowing dust, and idling. Join in!

After 20 months, an ordinance was unanimously passed by council to protect neighborhoods from further industrial debris
