I posted 300 trial reels in the last 30 days.
I’VE SEEN SOME SH*TTTT!
I’ve collected the data.
I’ve analysed the hooks and the watch time and the b-roll and the audio.
I understand the strategy.
And if I can tell you ONE thing, it’s to stop skipping these 8 things:
1. Make your reels 7 seconds.
2. Make a hook that gets people reading the caption.
3. Make the caption long so the watch time increases as they read.
4. Put time and effort into your text hook!!
5. Keep your trial reels as trials!! Don’t post them to your main feed.
6. If you can add value in the caption that gets people saving, that’s best!!
7. Persist! This only works if you persist.
8. Use Claude to audit your reels every 24 hrs. Takes 5 minutes with my prompt.
