Good News! We got a notice from the Society of Illustrators that Warren Dayton's new work for the State Park at Sutter's Mill is in the running for this years competition "Illustration West!" Out of 2-3,000 submissions of the best from ad agencies, studios, they select 200. Hopefully, this will be Warren's fifth career win.

Here is an article about Peet's - Warren's lettering, which was done for Alfred Peet in 1979 (when I was his bookkeeper and there were only three stores) certainly gained part of that near-billion in worth!

Continuing the conversation about ANIMATION I would appreciate weighing in on Flash
We are familiar with the Apple/Adobe controversy, and want to know the CURRENT skinny about problems actually using animated clips done in Flash, composited in AfterEffects.
A lot of folks were abandoning Flash completely. What do you think Jeremiah Spradlin and Nicolas Huvé?? Anybody else out there? Nathanael Minarik?
