Time to get to work. It's time to go to the aviary and start putting up breeding pairs of Parakeets, Cockatiels, Bourke Parakeets and Parotlets and maybe just maybe a pair of Sun Conures. Recently had a pair of Bourke Parakeets lay some eggs in the community flight. The hen sat tight on them so I decided to leave her alone with the until they hatched then remove them. Chances of those chicks surrvival would have been slim. There were two clutches a total of eight chicks. I hand fed them for five weeks until they were weaned and eating on their own. They are extremely tame and will make fine pets. Five of them are pink and three are normal brown/gray.
