The City of Dothan invites residents, visitors, and pickleball enthusiasts from across the region to mark their calendars for the official Opening Day of the new Dothan Pickleball Complex on Saturday, July 11, at 10:00 AM.

Located at the Rip Hewes Athletic Complex (1701 Stadium St.), the new facility represents a major investment in recreation, tourism, and community wellness. The state-of-the-art
complex features 25 covered pickleball courts, creating one of the premier pickleball destinations in the Southeast and providing year-round, all-weather play opportunities.

Opening Day festivities will begin at 10:00 AM and will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, special remarks from city leaders, and opportunities for the public to experience the new courts.

Additional details about Opening Day activities will be announced in the coming weeks.
