Our Teacher Job Fair is Saturday!

Coffee County Schools to Host Teacher Job Fair February 21

In preparation for the 2026-2027 school year, Coffee County Schools will be hosting a Teacher Job Fair on Saturday, February 21 from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM in the Clayton W. Mathis Performing Arts Center on the campus of Coffee High School, located at 159 Trojan Way in Douglas.

All of our schools will be present to conduct informal interviews. The school system is interested in interviewing applicants from all teaching fields. To prepare for the Job Fair:

1 - Go to jointeamcoffee.org and select “APPLY ONLINE”
2 - Register as a new user
3 - Complete application
4 - Apply for desired positions
5 - bring multiple copies of your resume - onsite interviews available!

Get ready for a night of confidence, smiles, and Atkinson County pride! The Miss Atco Pageant is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to see our students shine on stage.

📍 Location: ACHS Gym

📅 Date: Saturday, March 7th

🕐 Times:

• Pre-K–5th Grade begins at 1:00 PM

• 6th–12th Grade begins at 4:00 PM

💫 Who Can Enter?

ANY student in Atkinson County is welcome to enter!

📝 How to Enter:

• Pick up an application at your child’s school

• Submit the completed form with entry fee by Wednesday, March 4th

Hi. I’m Leo…Yes, I know I’m adorable to look at- No, I’m not part Sloth. 🦥🫠

Ahem. Clearly I am a very distinguished 3-year-old Shih Tzu gentleman weighing in at a mighty 8.4 pounds.

In reality, I prefer supervising household operations and following my human everywhere to ensure things are running properly.

Kitchen? I’m there.
Laundry room? I’ll inspect.
Bathroom trip? I volunteer as security.

I go outside like a good boy but I’m still polishing my house-training skills. I’m also learning to sleep all night in my crate — which I’ve decided is acceptable… for now.

Before rescue, another dog attacked me, which left me with a tiny limp. The vet says it’s no big deal and it keeps getting better. Personally, I think it adds character and makes me look heroic.

Despite being tossed aside and on my own for a bit, I stayed sweet… although I did develop the refined taste buds of a tiny food critic. Some call it picky. I call it standards.
