Field Trip: Northeast Color Visits Bluebird Self Storagerd Self Storage!

This week, we had the amazing opportunity to visit Bluebird Self Storage right here in Dover, NH! Organized by our very own Sara Tobeck, it was a convenient and insightful trip for our team, who were thrilled to witness firsthand the impact of our work and how it contributes to our clients' success.

A big shoutout to Sara for coordinating this enriching experience, and to the Bluebird Self Storage team for hosting us!

Earlier this month, the City of Dover NH honored us with an acknowledgement of donation award, personally thanking us for giving back to our community the past 2 years.

As our Marketing Manager, Derrick, perfectly mentioned, we are grateful to be rooted in Dover and are excited to give back for years to come.

Last summer, Jes, owner of 3 local shops called Waves, won a sign package raffle that we had donated to which our President, Jalmar, and Account Manager, Candace, executed.

Unfortunately last winter, a terrible snowstorm flooded her Ogunquit location and she had to move to a new location. Starting a business from scratch is a tough situation, and we can't imagine the pain experienced but we knew we could help make it a smidge easier. We gladly remade the sign package she originally won, helping ground this new, unexpected beginning.

It's always been more than just 'signs' - always has, and always will be. ❤️

One of our favorite organizations to give back to in our home state of New Hampshire is Hope On Haven Hill, an incredible organization that helps women and their families struggling with substance abuse.

For the past two years, we've been thrilled to help Hope on Haven Hill repair and finish some of their homes—and last week they honored us with a nod of appreciation within those very doors.

Our very own Billing & Receiving Specialist, Diane, attended a Double Ribbon Ceremony at the house we worked on last October, which will be occupied with 2 women and their children next month.

Diana said it best: "This is a very rewarding site to work at. I am very happy that Hope on Haven Hill is in Rochester, my hometown."

Thank you to the team at Hope on Haven Hill—including Jessica Parker and Kerry Norton —for the incredible honor.

COMMUNITY DAY 2023 (Part I):

The ampersand (&) is a big part of who we are because it establishes we are WITH those we work with - our community is no exception. During our onsite weeks, all of Northeast Color gives back to our city (Dover, New Hampshire), going to different organizations volunteering our time, talent, and tools.

For May's projects we:

🐠 Spruced up the NH Fish and Game land with some general yard work, painting, staining, and cleaning
🏠 Worked on the beautiful Hope On Haven Hill house.
⚾ Went around the horn at Roger Allen Park, fielding any needed upkeep.
🤙 Lended a hand at the Great Bay's Community Wildlife Garden
🎨 Repainted the Silver Street Tunnel on the Dover Community Trail.
🌟 Gave the city's Garrison Hill Park and Tower a new coat of paint

Yes, we run a business, but there's no way we could have over 30 years of success if it wasn't for our community. It's always been Northeast Color & Dover.
