💜 REAL PEOPLE. REAL NEEDS. REAL IMPACT. 💜
Behind every request for help is a real family, a real story, and a community member who deserves to know they are not alone.
Recently, Code Purple Kent County was able to support a local family of 5 living in state housing. Mom works hard to provide for her family, but like so many hardworking families, sometimes there simply isn’t enough to cover every need.
This family came to us needing something as basic as clothing and essential supplies — and this is exactly why Code Purple exists. 🫶🏽
👕 Current clothing needs include:
• Women’s clothing — sizes M/L, shoes 9½
• Men’s shirts — sizes 2X, 3X & 5X
• Men’s pants/jeans — sizes 32×32, 40×32, 46/48×32 & 50/52×32
We could also use ladies sizes sm-3x!
But clothing is only part of what we do.
💜 Code Purple Kent County provides:
👕 Clothing
🍎 Food & pantry supplies
🧴 Hygiene products
🏠 Housing & community resources
🎒 School supplies
🛏️ Household & furniture assistance
🤝 Referrals and connections to other resources
…and so much more.
One family at a time. One neighbor at a time. One act of kindness at a time.
When you donate gently used clothing, food, hygiene products, household items, or financial support, you aren’t just giving an item — you’re giving a family dignity, hope and a little breathing room. 💜
If you have items this family can use, or would like to help Code Purple continue serving families throughout Kent County, please reach out.
