Yesterday at the Small Business Expo in Boston, our booth stayed busy with conversations from entrepreneurs, startups, and growing businesses across New England.
One thing we heard repeatedly throughout the day was how many business owners have tried building their own brand representation in-house using DTF, online platforms, DIY design tools, and quick-order merch sites. For many, it was a great starting point. But now they are looking to take their brand to the next level with a stronger strategy, better quality, and a more professional customer experience.
At Rocky Coast Printworks, we spent the day helping businesses navigate conversations around:
โข screen print vs embroidery vs DTF
โข logo prep and artwork setup
โข retail-ready merchandise
โข choosing products people will wear and remember
โข branding consistency across teams, events, and customer experiences
โข how quality merch impacts brand perception
What made this event exciting was not just the traffic at the booth, but the opportunity to educate and foster real conversations around business growth, branding, and long-term merch strategy.
