It's been a very long time since I've posted, however we've made a few life changes that have required me to be very selective with portraits sessions. Being more present with my family has been an amazing choice. I promise, my camera still comes out from time to time!

And speaking of families!!!! Here are twins (14 days new) that were welcomed into my sweet friends' little family. These two cuties were AMAZING to work with and those hats have me swooning again and again even as I wrap up editing their collection!

October is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month. Miscarriage is something rarely talked about and I have not experienced it personally however have really close friends and family who have. The pain and grief is real and it hurts; babies gone too soon. I pray that today those of you wandering on my page can stop and reflect, remember or reach out to a loved one.

A couple weeks ago, I was privileged to capture some sweet newborn portraits of a sheer miracle, baby W. His lovely mama grieves over losing his siblings and she's put it so perfectly, she's "fought for her rainbows." I echo a prayer for others who are fighting for theirs. May God give you the peace and meet you right where you are at.

While Monday was the start of school for many in our area, it was also a day to celebrate LIFE! Baby H arrived around 11:45am and I was able to hop over to capture his first couple of hours. Here are a few favorites from his Fresh48 session. What a sweet sweet boy he is. To say that his big brother and Gran are smitten would be an understatement. More to come of mom, dad and the whole family shortly!

It is back to school season and this sweet gal started her new chapter not on the Hershey fields but at St. Francis University playing collegiate field hockey. This is one of her senior portraits and I'll admit, I'm in love with three things about this session: 1) stepping back into my 'ol stomping grounds 2) being asked to shoot senior portraits-these are one of my favs and 3) the humbleness of this lovely lady. She's lettered in 8 sports and shrugged it off like no big deal! Students, happy first day(s) back and make this the best year yet!

FACT: My littles are wild and crazy (maybe because they are all under 4.5 YO). Two weeks ago, I ventured out to the beautiful Elverson sunflower patch ALONE to try to capture my life. Let me tell you I resorted to bribery for good behavior and I'm not ashamed in the least. These aren't perfect but they are perfectly mine. I have so many favorites so enjoy these few.

IdR Photography has been quiet for quite some time considering our family expanded with our littlest addition. There was intentional time to soak up baby snuggles during maternity leave. Shortly after returning, I had the privilege to capture a few maternity portraits of a dear friend as she expects her second. These sunflowers are only out for a few short weeks a year and we took advantage of their beauty.

I'll share my adventure with my three in the sunflower patch shortly!

We've been a bit quiet this winter season being present with family and friends. Hope you and your loved ones enjoyed the holidays as they come and go so quickly! We had the opportunity to host and reunite with dear friends that traveled over 24 hours by plane and spent time with us for a little shy of a month. Instead of enjoying Mauritius island (their current home) which is something like the 8th wonder of the world, they decided to bunker down and bear the cold December/January of Pennsylvania. And to top it off, their portrait session was on one of the coldest days they were here! In addition to having a ton of portrait keepsakes, they now have proof that snow was present during their stay in PA!

Everything pales to a new momma's love for their little one. Especially as their heart melts all over again when they see their cutie's newborn session images for the first time. I always enjoy these viewing sessions because I get to see how much growth happens in such a short time! This 'lil man is no exception!

Got to spend a beautiful afternoon with this couple going through their engagement images. The combination of fall foliage and these lovebirds captured during our session wrap up was just devine. This was one of their favorites....as well as mine.

On my way to West Chester to cover an anniversary celebration. Can't wait to see the surprised faces when the couple reacts to how many dear friends and loved ones came out to celebrate....some which they have not seen in decades!

And behold a son was born! Brighton Elliot Avinash was born on Friday, October 21st weighting 6lbs 9oz. I can't tell you how excited and honored I was to do his newborn session. Brighton is a true answer to prayer and he was just a gem during the session. Mama and dad are just head over heels for their little prince and how could you not be with his adorable features! Can't wait to showcase one or two more in the next week or two!
