Hard lesson learned this week…

The content you think will go viral flops. The content you never expected to take off always goes viral. (ALWAYS)

Same with content ideas. Sometimes you think you have a good, original idea and that it will go over well, only to find out you were wrong.

Client: “So, how do you guys know Shuree?”

Colin & Lexie: “Well, we don’t…I mean, we do now.”

So, when you saw Colin and Lexie popping up in your feed while they were in Dubuque creating content for some of our local clients, including Vans, Ford and Kia, this is how it all went down:

One random night, Shuree came across a video of Colin at a Luke Bryan concert. It had been posted only a couple of hours earlier.

Her first thought: “This might go viral, and it could be fun to jump on this opportunity for our clients.”

She sent a message to his wife, Lexie, on TikTok.

Two days later, they were on their way to Dubuque to film content.

Marketing in a social media world is all about taking risks. We knew this could either be a hit or a flop, but we jumped on the opportunity as soon as we saw the video because we had a feeling it would go viral.

Ultimately, it resulted in greater brand visibility for our clients and, hopefully, will convert into more customers over time.

We call that a win. 👏🎬

At Behrly Group, you really never know who’s going to walk through the doors, what opportunity might fall into your lap, or what crazy idea Shuree will have next.

A couple weeks ago, we had a surprise visit from Michael and Axel, old coworkers of Shuree’s, and it was such a nice surprise to catch up. We got to talk about some of our favorite things: photography and videography.

Michael recently launched a side business doing drone videography, and even when he’s driving truck, he captures some really cool shots while unloading.

Meet Sam, the newest face at Behrly Group!

Sam and Shuree have known each other for over 20 years and previously worked together for five. Fun fact: they tied for “Most Unforgettable” in high school, so if you know how bubbly and energetic Shuree is, just know there is another one… and her name is Sam.
