The Chroma/Lab got another upgrade 🙌🏼 We just installed the SAATI LTS E70B auto exposure unit in the lab. The entire process from installation to exposing our first screen was so easy!

Addicted to upgrading the ChromaLab 🙌🏼 we installed the new SAATI LTS E70B single screen auto exposure unit alongside our SAATI ProCoat 25x26 auto coater.

Emulsion is not a one-size-fits-all 👉🏼 Every shop has a different workflow. Some need faster exposure. Some need stronger water resistance. Some print by hand. Some need better detail. Some need an emulsion that is easier to reclaim. Some use auto equipment. Some don’t.

Bottom line: The best emulsion is the one that fits your process.

Chromaline’s Hydro-X Red emulsion was featured at Shirt Show’s SUPERBASE 2026 in Florida earlier this week 👉🏼 SUPERBASE brought screen printers together for a full day of hands-on learning, practical shop-floor education, and a deep dive into what makes a better underbase, including screen prep, coating, exposure, mesh selection, reclaim, press variables, and more.

A great print starts long before the shirt hits the press. It starts in the screen room, with the right process and the right emulsion. We were proud to have Hydro-X Red included in an event focused on helping printers dial in cleaner whites, better detail, smoother prints, and more consistent results.

Are your positives sticking to your screen? Here’s what to do 👇🏼

🚫 PROBLEM: your film positive is sticking to your screen during exposure, or your screen is sticking to the exposure glass

🤓 WHY: your screen is not completely dry or you have high humidity in your screen room

✅ SOLUTION: get a dehumidifier and maintain a relative humidity of under 40%, and/or switch to ChromaLime emulsion

🟢 ChromaLime emulsion is designed to be tack-free for high humidity shops in order to help eliminate your coated screen from sticking to inkjet films and exposure glass

😤 but I thought my screen WAS dry?!

💦 Emulsion is hygroscopic, which means it absorbs moisture from the environment it is in

💦 A screen could be completely dry in one area of your shop or in a drying cabinet and if it is taken to another area where humidity is higher it will take on that moisture and rewet

💦 Use a hygrometer to monitor your relative humidity and temperature

💦 Ideal screen room conditions are between 30%-40% RH and 60°F to 80°F
