The City of Duluth will begin work on the Lakewalk and Coastal Improvements project Tuesday, Aug. 18. The Lakewalk will be closed between Leif Erikson Park and Water Street; a detour will be posted directing pedestrian traffic in order to bypass the construction work.

We’re out at Nemadji Golf Course celebrating one of Superior’s longtime summer traditions alongside local businesses, community leaders, and plenty of golfers.

Our Positively Superior cover cutout has been making its way around the course, and we may have found a few future cover stars along the way.

Here’s to a great day celebrating the people who make our community what it is!

The new Blatnik Bridge will stretch farther, stand taller and be built to last a century. But getting there will mean years of construction, a closure expected to last up to 56 months, and a fundamental reshaping of how people and freight move between Superior and Duluth.
