The Story Behind Blessed Kre8tive Designz
Blessed Kre8tive Designz is more than a business—it is a story of faith, strength, creativity, and determination.
My journey began in 2014 in Des Moines, Iowa, after three of my jobs closed down. With only $500 in my savings account, I took a leap of faith and invested in myself. I started creating candles, wax melts, and other handmade crafts. I may not have had a lot of money, but I had creativity, determination, and a dream.
In 2017, I moved to Kansas City. Then, on October 17, 2017, my life changed forever when I suffered a stroke. I had to relearn how to use my body from the neck down. As I slowly regained feeling and movement in my arms and hands, my savings began running low due to doctor visits, medications, and everyday living expenses. I knew I had to find a way to keep going.
I purchased a Cricut machine and began crafting again. That one decision helped change my life. Crafting gave me hope, restored my confidence, and helped bring me out of a deep depression. Every item I created reminded me that my circumstances did not have the power to determine my future.
Instead of allowing my struggles to break me, I turned my pain into purpose and my creativity into a successful business. That is how the name Blessed Kre8tive Designz came to life. I chose “Blessed” because I know God carried me through every challenge, and I chose “Kre8tive” because creativity has always been a special part of who I am.
Today, Blessed Kre8tive Designz continues to thrive in 2026. I am blessed to create beautiful custom products, bring my customers’ visions to life, and put smiles on people’s faces. Every order is made with love, passion, and gratitude.
My story is proof that difficult seasons can produce beautiful beginnings. With faith, determination, and creativity, it is possible to overcome life’s challenges and build something meaningful.
