Hey everyone, I’ve been a little quiet lately so I thought I’d jump on to give a life update.
We have had an absolutely wonderful transition from Duncan to Lawton and our son is absolutely thriving in his new school! We are slowly finding our rhythm and it has been nothing short of phenomenal- thank you to everyone who has been supporting us out here already!
Unfortunately, about two months back I lost a pretty dramatic argument with gravity which lead to a torn meniscus, displaced kneecap and honestly I’m not even sure what else. The orthopedic surgeon who fixed my shoulder a few years ago will be going in September 3rd (this week Thursday) and fixing what he can.
It is going to be a long recovery, I’ve been told to measure it in months not weeks. Im not sure what this means for the business, but if this is anything like every other hard moment in my life I know that sewing is going to get me through this.
