I was born in Jamestown, New York, and when I was just five years old, my family relocated to Frewsburg. I joined the Air Force in 1987 after receiving my diploma from Frewsburg High School and began training to become a 207-1, or Morse Intercept Operator. My tenure in the Air Force came to an end after a few years spent stationed at Misawa AB in Japan, and I returned to Jamestown. I worked in a v
ariety of advertising, publishing, and web development positions throughout the ensuing 17 years. After returning to western New York I eventually discovered my true home in Dunkirk. I have two wonderful children, a son in the United States Air Force and also a stepson, a Dunkirk native and junior at Dunkirk High School. I’m married to a beautiful and remarkable woman who works as the controller for an electrical contractor. Today, I do network administration and consulting. However, my true passion lies in helping support small local businesses. You’ll find me playing guitar in my free time, though I’m no rock star by any stretch of the imagination! Or riding my motorcycle a few times a year when I feel brave. My dog, Rusty Dawg, is a Chihuahua and Jack Russell terrier mix and is an excellent watchdog; ask him—he doubles as the MyDunkirk.com chief of security!
