Our Story

Triangle Green Pages was created to help customers find and patronize Black Owned Businesses in the NC Triangle area. As a Black Owned Business ourselves, we understand the need to work collaboratively as a community in order to succeed. Much like The Green Book guide to assist black motorists during Jim Crow America, we aspire to be a guide to assist those looking to support Black Owned Businesses today.

Motivated by our personal desire to seek out and patronize businesses from our community, we realized there was a need for a central location where we could search for these businesses in our area. Durham, Raleigh, and surrounding areas have a vast number of Black Owned Businesses in all fields and services. We own everything from storefronts, to real estate, dentists offices, childcare, automotive repair, barbershops, catering, etc. Our goal is to bring the entire community together in one place where we can all work collectively and support one-another. In doing so, we will make our goods and services more readily available.

Triangle Green Pages is owned and operated by husband and wife team, Gary and Tia Blount of Durham, NC. With several years of experience as entrepreneurs, we understand the passion business owners have for their companies, and recognize the added challenges Black Owned Businesses may face in the Triangle as well as the country at large. We hope to be a bridge and do our part.
