DRIVE SAFE & DRIVE SOBER!

The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) will be conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint on State Route 210 at Main Street on April 24 between 10:00 PM and 12:00 AM.

This checkpoint is part of THP’s ongoing commitment to reducing impaired-driving-related crashes, injuries, and fatalities. Troopers will be present to evaluate drivers for signs of impairment and to promote safe driving practices. THP encourages all motorists to drive responsibly, wear seat belts, and never operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

🎄 Parade Update 🎄- NEW DATE: 12/2/25 - 7pm
From the Chamber: Due to the forecasted weather for tonight, the Dyersburg Christmas Parade has been postponed to tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2nd.
With careful consideration from the Dyersburg Police Department, parade organizers, and with the safety of our community in mind, we have made the decision to delay the event.

Reminder about the showing of the documentary on the HMT Rohna. The story is connected to the Dyersburg Army Air Base and the 853rd Engineering Battalion that trained on the air base during World War 2.

The program will start at 5:00 on Tuesday in the Professional Development Center at 305 College Street in downtown Dyersburg. I encourage you to bring others to this special event.

The movie lasts about an hour.
