Meet Caroline Lopez — the recipient of the very first Emily Camille Stokes Arts Scholarship at Woodruff High School 💜

Caroline is a graduating senior with a heart full of stories and the artistic talent to tell them. Her winning piece, "Sana Sana colita de rana," is a deeply personal tribute to her father, who passed last October — paper flowers crafted from his medical appointment papers, transformed into a symbol of the hope her family carried through his battle with kidney failure. Hope, grief, and beauty, all in one.

We're so honored to play a small part in her journey, and so excited to see what she creates next at Wofford College this fall.
