A LITTLE BUSINESS REFLECTION…
It’s funny how time changes things and sometimes, people.
There are people who, a few years ago, needed TJ’s Creations. You called me. You asked questions. You needed help, advice, designs, printing, resources, connections, or simply someone willing to help you get something done. And guess what? I helped.
Today, some of those same people have grown their own businesses, gained customers, learned new skills and started doing great things for themselves.
And for that, I AM GENUINELY PROUD OF YOU.
But somewhere along the way, for some, growth turned into competition. Confidence turned into conceit. Support turned into comparison. And suddenly the person you once had no problem calling became somebody you needed to compete with, talk about, discredit or act as though you never needed.
The beautiful thing is I don't operate like that.
I don't have to tear down your business to validate mine. I don't have to bring your name into conversations to make TJ’s Creations look better. I don't have to secretly hope you fail so I can succeed.
There is room for ALL OF US.
I appreciate every person who has ever supported TJ’s Creations, whether you still support me today or not. And if you've gone on to build something successful of your own, I'm proud of you. Keep building!
I just wish sometimes people would come down off those high horses long enough to remember when they were still trying to get on the horse. 💯
Never become so successful that you forget your beginning. Never become so confident that you forget who extended a hand. And never become so consumed with competition that you can't congratulate somebody else.
I've been doing this for 30+ years, and one thing those years have taught me is that another person's success does not threaten mine.
So no shade. No names. No bashing. No competition from me.
Just reflection. Growth. Gratitude. And continued respect for everybody out here building something of their own.
Because I'd rather see us ALL WIN than spend my time trying to prove who is winning the most.
