Martha's Vineyard Hospital's year-end appeal tells the heartwarming story of island resident Noli Taylor who, upon experiencing some chest discomfort, went to her doctor to get checked out. A series of tests were conducted at MVH, including a state-of-the-art CT Scan, which revealed a rare congenital heart abnormality. Noli was referred to a cardiologist at Mass General Hospital who successfully performed open heart surgery. Thanks to the excellent diagnostic care she received at MVH, Noli is healthy and back to her life on island.
