This week was spent connecting a couple local farms and a few residential homes to Starlink internet. We also set up a couple point to point wireless setups to get internet from houses to barns and whole property wireless distribution systems. I would like to thank Bartholomew (Cloverdale) Farms in Scotts, and Iobe Farms in Leonidas for your business. My favorite set up was an elderly gentleman that reached out about not being able to make or take cellular calls at home and no landline options available. We were able to get him set up with a Starlink and mesh wifi to cover his high traffic areas of his property where he would generally try to use his phones. After the setup was complete, a half hour phone conversation was crystal clear and absolutely flawless. You can see the smile on his face after struggling for over a decade to talk on his cell phone. The bonus was good internet to stream, so he could cancel Dish Network and connect his smart Thermostat to his phone app and watch cameras overlooking his home and property while on winter vacation. Also set up a new mercury light at a local deer processing facility to allow owner to remove old mercury light and rotten telephone pole.
