Covid 19 Nurses:

The term Covid-Nurse is used to define an individual that went to school and graduated during the covid -19 Pandemic. Graduates from the Covid-19 Pandemic did not have the luxury of being able to go into a clinical site to sharpen their skills. The skills they learned were from lab days working with manikins.

Nurses that graduated during the Covid-19 pandemic have shown the propensity to struggle with their clinical application once hired. With Staff shortage, some of these nurses were/are not even given the appropriate amount of time to orient.

1. If you are one of these so called covid-19 nurse. How have you managed to maneuver through these challenges?

2. For the seasoned Nurses what have you done to help with difficult transition theses nurses are facing?

3. If you are in a managerial position i.e (RN Supervisor, Unit Manager, Facility Clinical Educator) what role have you played to make sure theses nurse are comfortable in their new environment.
