Come celebrate with us at our New Year's Eve Sparty Celebration. We will be shooting of fireworks at 9pm beside the Dutch Treat restaurant. We will be serving food and beverages out of our food trailer. Stay warm with our huge Bon fire! Hope to see you there! Kid, family friendly event.

I would like to thank everyone that come to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. With the rain we were worried that attendance would be down. Well I was wrong. Sure the turn out wasn't as good as the past years but amazingly it was fantastic. The celebration was still a great success and this shows us how much the Spartanburg community supports there little town and appreciates us having the bon fire.
The first picture shows how big the fire was this year a little over 300 bundles and we could have gone more but we still need to be safe about how it's done. So a special thanks to the truck drivers that donated there time. I'm going to name a few and if I miss someone please tag yourself to this post. Harold Graves, Brian Jackson, Rick Cook, Jason Donavon, Travis Jewell, Matt Dangle. And I can't forget Bob Brown for saving the light pole from start to finish of the fire.
The winner of the drawing was Precision Transportation owned By Pat Madden of Titusville. Last Year was Corry Central Labor club and the year before Mike and Mary Cummings's of Spartanburg. Congratulations Precision Transportation.
I would like to do something different for next year's event. We would like to do a Pryo musical so if I can get started early with donations (instead of week before Christmas) to see what we can come up with. I will be posting a list of all those businesses that donated and if anyone has pictures of the fireworks pleas share and tag them.
Lastly I cannot forget about Thanking the great crew we had setting up all day in the rain. Denny and Linda McGurk, Mike Yochum, Ron Millard, Bob Evan's ( Oilcity), Jeff Johnson, and in the food trailer my two daughters Alissa and Kaylen, Tracy and sister and Brother-in-law Kieth and Angie Shaw, and my mother Nancy Gibson for watching Addison for us.
And a HUGE thank you to Ben Byler of Ashley's Pub assisted byTage for donating and setting up the tent and food for last night. Ben has always been a believer and proud of the Spartansburg community and holds his head high to be a part of it.
All the fireworks are from Dominator Brand Fireworks that are imported by us.

Please come join us, Gibson fireworks, as we celebrate our 15th year Anniversary! This event started with Jeffery P Gibson, owner of Gibson fireworks and local business owner Bill Reese Several times Jeff was asked why he continues this celebration and his response is, This is where Gibson Fireworks originated. We have several local and surrounding businesses that donate that keeps this celebration going so we thank you!! Special thank you to Ben Byler for assisting for 12 of those 15 years. Ben still continues to support the celebration as owner of Ashley's Pub with donating his time, food, tent and help with setup the day of the celebration.
