Getting ready for my book signing and meet the author. In 3:23, I write about what imposter syndrome actually feels like from the inside. Not panic. Just the quiet voice that tells you to lower yourself so you seem more relatable. I felt it writing every chapter. I still said yes anyway. Come find me this weekend.

I almost didn't go.

Cleaning a salon in my interview outfit because juggling is real. But so is faith.

Every doubt got answered in that room. God is faithful, even when you can't see the full picture.

Spent my lunch hour with some incredible small business owners today, and my heart is so full.

I had the privilege of leading a Lunch & Learn with the Chamber of Commerce on why social media matters and how to use Canva to start showing up with confidence online. We talked strategy, did live demos, and honestly? The conversation in that room was everything.

This is exactly why I do what I do. Not just to manage accounts or design graphics, but to help business owners feel less overwhelmed and more equipped to tell their own story.

Staying updated on trends doesn't mean chasing every one of them.

It means knowing what's out there so you can decide what actually fits your brand and your audience. Some trends are worth jumping on. A lot of them aren't. And that's okay.

The goal isn't to look like everyone else. It's to show up consistently in a way that feels true to you and serves the people you're trying to reach.

So yes, keep an eye on what's trending. But always run it through the filter of: does this make sense for MY brand?

Happy Mother's Day to every mom who is showing up today, the ones who feel like they have it together and the ones who are holding it together by a thread. Both of you are doing something that matters more than you know.

Motherhood is not always pretty. It is early mornings, hard conversations, sacrifices nobody sees, and love that does not quit even when you are running on empty. And yet you keep going.

That is not small. That is everything.

To every mom in this community, you are seen, you are appreciated, and you are doing a better job than you give yourself credit for. I hope today reminds you of that.
