Today we celebrate the freedom that so many have fought to protect and for small business owners, that freedom means the opportunity to build something from the ground up, pursue a dream, serve our communities, and create a life we love.

Owning a business isn't always easy. It takes faith, hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance. But the ability to choose our path, follow our calling, and make a difference through what we do is a freedom worth celebrating.

This Independence Day, I'm grateful for the opportunity to do what I love, serve incredible clients, and support fellow small businesses.

It's been a minute.

Last time I posted here I was celebrating my book signing, and a lot has happened since.

The big news: I've stepped into a new role as Social Media Director for Blake Fulenwider Dodge & Chevy, on top of running ManagedbyRaena. Excited isn't even the right word, more like fired up to bring even more strategy and creativity to both worlds.

I recently had major surgery and am taking it easy as I recover, but I'm already feeling the itch to get back at it.

On the personal side, my daughter just graduated and is heading off to college in July. This summer is full of big moments, and I'm soaking every one of them up.

I still cannot believe I get to say I had a book signing. Thank you to Page Outdoors for hosting and Rizzin’ Bake Shop for the sweetest addition to the day. Getting ready for my book signing and meet the author. In 3:23, I write about what imposter syndrome actually feels like from the inside. Not panic. Just the quiet voice that tells you to lower yourself so you seem more relatable. I felt it writing every chapter. I still said yes anyway. Come find me this weekend.

I almost didn't go.

Cleaning a salon in my interview outfit because juggling is real. But so is faith.

Every doubt got answered in that room. God is faithful, even when you can't see the full picture.
