We are SO excited for our big announcement! But first, a little background on my journey in this industry:

In 2000, I began working as a designer with Chuck Flora at Richard's Jackets on Barron Street. The business changed ownership a couple of different times over the next several years, but my journey continued. I began working more with customers and learned how to screen-print, use the heat press and varsity jackets.

In 2006, Pat and Connie Taylor bought the company and the name changed from Richard's to First Impression Wear. In 2013, we moved from Barron Street to our current location on East Main Street.

Years after the move, Connie and Pat moved to Tennessee and I began managing the business. I continued to work with customers, screen print, run the heat press and varsity jackets. I also learned how to run the embroidery machines during this time.

At the end of 2022, I purchased the company and building from Pat and Connie, and I am very grateful for all of their help in the purchasing process. They have been incredibly supportive and I could never repay them for their patience and generosity throughout the entire process and beyond.

As we near the end of 2024, I am the sole owner and am beyond excited to announce a NEW NAME! While I know that I helped build what First Impression Wear has become, I really wanted something that felt more like my own - something I created that belongs to me. I am SO excited to announce that we are officially "The Fieldhouse, LLC" as of now!

I am very proud of how far I have come. If you had told me years ago that this quiet, small-town girl who started out behind a desk designing artwork, would become a business owner and work with the public every single day, I would have never believed you. I've learned a lot along the way and I will continue to learn and grow as things are constantly changing.

I am eternally thankful and feel incredibly blessed to have such wonderful family, friends and workers that have supported me over the years. The amount of support we have received thus far from our community has been nothing short of incredible, and we hope it will continue throughout this new journey.

We are a small business and a small team. We work with our customers to provide satisfaction and we work hard to get our orders out as quickly as possible, and we will always continue to do so. We hope you will stop in and check out the new FIELDHOUSE very soon!
