Sometimes I feel like sublimation takes the fun out of creating because it’s so easy to transfer images … so lately I’ve been subbing on wood and painting over the image to make the colors pop even more ..I’ve been teaching myself to paint so this has been a great way to practice my skills .. my students have even got in on the action helping me paint this dinosaur measuring board for our back to school get together !

Created some magnetic stickers for my students … I normally would have my machine cut out the stickers but this gave my students a opportunity to peace those fine motor skills !

One of my favorite sewing pages keeps posting the yellow skirt for a $50 virtual class tutorial(not in the budget for me … I got Concerts to go to) … either way I finally attempted it by drafting my own pattern ! I only had a polyester curtain panel to practice on (it’s 100% polyester … which means it subbed beautifully ) next time I will get the heavier fabric .. scuba fabric or neoprene I think it’s called ) .. I’m very happy with the outcome .If she lets me I plan to add an overal piece to it as well.

Created Matching Family Shirts for our first annual Minocqua Games !
