I have been having an absolute blast doing theater work just lately! Unfortunately, so far it's all been minors, so unless the schools themselves share the photos, I haven't been sharing them here.

This was from Fort LeBoeuf's version of Wizard of Oz, their set designers did such an incredible job with the backgrounds and props. This wizard's eyes actually glowed, it was very cool!

Don't miss Parker Middle School's presentation of Matilda Jr. this weekend! 7:00PM show tonight, and 2:00PM and 7:00PM tomorrow! These kids have worked so hard, and deserve every bit of applause that they get!

On Friday night I was invited to photography the McLane Church Sweetheart Dance, and it was so much fun! In addition to dancing there was a room full of reptiles, a magician, face painting, two craft tables, balloon animals, a photo booth and tons of food and dessert options.

As always, I took way too many photos and will be culling and editing for a few days, but I wanted to share a few of the venue and some of my own family members, as well as Kim from A Floral Affair. My niece showed no fear around the alligator, and my daughter's face paint was definitely one of a kind!

I delivered the Horror Fest photos months ago, but have been slacking on social media! Between the holidays, all of my volunteer work, the loss of our sweet bearded dragon, and general winter hibernation, I've fallen behind for sure. I'm going to make a valiant effort to get caught up over the next few days!

Here is another selection of photos from Friday night at the fest! Josh Ruben did a Q&A after a screening of his film, Heart Eyes. He was so engaged with the guests, and as you can see, extremely funny. If you have an opportunity to meet him at a film festival or convention, definitely do so!

Still working my way through the first day of the Eerie Horror Fest, this was mostly hours two and three of the day. A couple of snaps from the rehearsal hall, a quick walk through the lobby for some more vendor photos, and then heading up to the meet and greets with both Adrienne Barbeau and Josh Ruben.

For the first hour of the Eerie Horror Fest I circled the podcast tables as Josh Ruben made his interview rounds.

First, with the Eerie Horror Fest podcast crew, which is technically Alyssa and Aaron, but Aaron gave up his spot to Rie, as he was doing a Q&A with Josh later in the evening.

After they completed their interview, I followed Josh to the lobby of the Warner to meet with Brian and John, the hosts of the Cinema Psychos podcast. Also on hand was John's very sweet fiancee Christine.

The final podcast interview was with Shaggy's House of Horrors and hosts Michael and Karis were clearly delighted by how charismatic Josh was.

I returned to the Eerie Horror Festival this year, and I took so many photos that I've edited 200 photos already and I'm only one hour into the two day festival. I'll be highlighting my favorite photos here over the next few days (weeks?) as I work on getting the entire catalog edited. Todays' post features some of the talented vendors that were at the festival, and this is just a small fraction of the amazing wares that could be found in the lobby of the Warner over the weekend.

Signs of life! This summer got away from me, and I apparently picked up every cold that was going around from June until the end of August.

I took these at the Gem City Renaissance Festival, these are specifically from Raven's Nest Oddities and Curiosities. You can find them here:
