✨ Día de Mu***os ✨
This photo means a lot to me. Thank you .gonzalez for bringing my vision to life ! She’s surrounded by marigolds and candlelight, wrapped in my grandma’s old mantels, something that once brought warmth to her home. I wanted to capture her spirit through what brings me joy fashion and photography. Turning a piece of her world into something living, breathing, and beautiful.

For me, Día de Mu***os isn’t just about remembering those we’ve lost , it’s about celebrating how they still show up in our lives in quiet, unexpected ways. Through textures, colors, light… even an old mantel that now tells a new story.

Tonight, as we get ready to turn off the candle, I’m reminded that her light never really goes out it just keeps glowing in different forms. Love and Miss you Grandma til we meet again 🫶🏻

“Trenzas de Tierra” for a project that merges traditional Indigenous garments from México with thrifted, sustainable fashion to create a dialogue between heritage and modern style.

As a folklorista and photographer/ stylist, I wanted to explore the symbolism of trenzas braids that hold culture, strength, and memory. The shoot centers on model Kassandra Gonzalez, styled in handmade pieces alongside contemporary finds.
