DOJ Charges Greg Lui in Alleged $300 Million Server Smuggling Case
Federal prosecutors say a San Gabriel technology company owner tried to move export-controlled American computing power to China by routing it through third countries. On October 1, 2026, agents arrested Greg Lui, 38, also known as Yiu Kong Lui, on a three-count indictment returned two days earlier.
The case sits at the center of U.S. efforts to keep advanced graphics processors out of unauthorized hands. An indictment is an allegation. Lui is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
