Stephens Media Group is selling its four stations in Alexandria LA to Mark Porter’s Globecom Media.

Globecom previously owned two stations in El Campo and Bay City,TX and Porter hosts the self-syndicated Classic Country show “Saturday Night Gold“. He has also programmed stations in Alexandria and served as Operations Manager for First Natchez Radio in Natchez MS.

In the deal, he will acquire Country “LA 103.5” KLAA Tioga, Christian AC “104.3 The Bridge” KEZP Bunkie, Classic Country “105.5 K-Buck” KBKK Ball, and AC “Sunny 106.9” KEDG Alexandria.

Stephens retains its cluster in Monroe LA and stations in California, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon and Washington.

After months of negations, Globecom Media (owned by Mark Porter) has made an agreement to sell it’s Texas FM radio stations (KIOX & KKHA) as well as all of its Downtown El Campo, TX Commercial Real Estate to Bay & Beyond Broadcasting. Globecom Media will launch new products soon as well as continue to operate the Nationally Syndicated Radio Show “Saturday Night Gold”. Globecom Media will be moving it’s main offices from Texas to the Central Louisiana Area.
