F5 Imprint Founded in 1974, Randy Wells grew his local business from a men's and ladies's clothing store to a full screen printing and embroidery shop.

Randy was ready for retirement life and Scott and Yolanda are excited to grow the business and keep it going for several more decades! Scott runs the business while Yolanda continues her long career at Butler Community College. They have two grown children (Dylan and Sydney) who are both EL Dorado High School graduates and all four are graduates of Butler Community College.

Now accepting applications / resumes for the role of screen printer. This position will perform all screen print duties including prep, printing and reclaim/cleaning. Upon our needs, they may be required to assist in another department. This is a high paced / busy position that requires self-management and drive. Must be able to recognize colors, stand for extended periods of time, able to lift and carry 35–40-pound boxes, be self-driven, have an attention for detail and have a high sense of pride in your completed work.

We will train the right person, but previous experience would be a bonus. We are looking to fill this position in the first part of January. Contruction is in full force in our old lobby space (202 W Central). We have locked those doors and are now directing ALL customers and inquiries to the Cigar Store entrance at 204 W Central. Once the cigar store moves out, we will be remodeling that space to better serve our F5 Imprint customers and that will be the new entrance. Thanks, Scott

A BIG announcement!

Several weeks ago, I was asked about selling our building and parking lot. This wasn’t something I had been contemplating at all. I like our location and after almost 5 years here, we have gotten very comfortable here. But after some very serious contemplation and when the negotiations went a little too well… we sold our building and the parking lot! Good news is that we are staying as renters in the west part of the building! The new owners will be using the old bank area, on the east side, for their operation.

Some of you may have seen that our other company, El Dorado Cigar & Pipe, will be moving in a couple of months to a new / bigger location. This was completely unrelated to the sale of the building and has been in the works for months, but it sure is convenient now!

After the cigar store moves out, we will be moving the F5 Imprint customer entrance to 204 W. Central Ave (right next door, same building). I am currently looking for a property that would allow us to organize our layout more efficiently, for both our customers and us, but I am in no hurry. This deal allows us to stay as long as we want, but we will be condensing our space a tad.

PLEASE NOTE, there will be ZERO change or disruption to our daily operations and production, just a little awkward when we change the F5 Imprint access to the building.

Need some embroidery thread? We have a ton of brand new, surplus, thread cones (5000 ft each +/-) for sale. I bought 620 cones about 5 years ago in a bulk deal and we never used much of them. We use the same 30-40 colors for almost every job. These are $8-12 each when bought new. Asking $3 each, discount if you buy 20 or more. Almost every color and shade, with a lot of pastels. Rayon thread (soft). Will work in a home or commercial embroidery machine or for hand stitching or other sewing projects. Come by the store and we will let you shop until you drop! Thanks!

As the year winds down, we reflect on things and are extremely humbled by the loyalty of our customers. This year was a good year for us and although we had some hiccups (torn up street during the busiest part of the year), we came through it successfully. Thank you to all our customers, both old and new.

As a tradition that we started a few years ago, we will be closing until the first of the year to give the F5 Imprint staff a long deserved break with their family and friends. We will close at 3:00pm on Christmas Eve and will not return until Jan 2nd. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!

Need a coat or jacket? Know someone who does and needs a Christmas gift? We have a couple racks of discontinued model coats and jackets. They are all very discounted and ready for a new owner.

Please note, the letter jackets in the photo are NOT correct to any local school. They are errors that have the wrong cuff/neck/waist band colors. We are open until 5pm, today, tomorrow, Monday. Tuesday (Christmas Eve) we will be closing about 3:00pm and gone until Jan 2.
